Human Design Gate 63 is The Gate of Doubt. People with Gate 63 are natural born skeptics. They have an insatiable curiosity and need to know the truth. There can be a great pressure here to have all of the answers.

Location of Gate 63 in your Human Design Chart

Gate 63 is located in the Head center of the bodygraph or human design chart.

The 63-4 Channel and Gate 63’s Human Design Circuitry

Think of Human Design Circuitry as the circuit board that lies beneath the rest of your design. Circuitry is the thing that all other aspects are placed upon. It lays the foundation and the energies here never change.  

There are 3 main circuits in Human Design: Individual, Collective, and Tribal. 

This gate is part of The Channel of Logic (63-4).
It’s housed in a skeptical mind that is driven by questioning everything. There is a tendency to be future focused with this channel defined, always trying to find patterns and inconsistencies, which creates – or can create – anxieties.

If this channel is defined for you, it’s really important to remember that it is projected energy. Your life will be smoother if you wait to be invited to share your insights rather than word vomiting on everyone who crosses your path.

Tapping into Gate 63’s Energy

How does Gate 63 show up in your chart, and how can you tap into that curious energy? Start by taking a look at your own chart to see if Gate 63 is defined (the line is colored in)  or undefined (the line is blank). Next, look at the Head Center to see if it is defined (colored in) or undefined (blank).

Here are the possibilities:

Defined Gate 63 in a Defined Head Center

If Gate 63 is defined for you in a defined centre you have access to this energy always. It’s part of who you are. You won’t take anything at face value, always questioning and seeking the ‘right’ answers. You may be anxious and feel like you are never sure of things.

Defined Gate 63 in an Undefined Head Center

If Gate 63 is defined for you in an undefined centre it is considered dormant. It will be activated when you are with someone who has gate 4 (The Gate of Answers), defined OR when a planetary transit defines this gate.

Accessing Energy with an Undefined Gate 63

If Gate 63 is undefined for you, fear not! 
You’ll have access to the energy of this gate when you are with others who have it defined and/or through planetary transits. You can borrow this energy by being in the aura of someone who has it defined.

Unveiling The Shadow of Gate 63

The shadow of Gate 63, according to Gene Keys, is doubt.
Richard Rudd (Gene Keys) explains that Gene Key 62 moves from doubt, through inquiry, and finds truth.

Remember that the shadow states aren’t ‘bad’ and that the path isn’t always linear. Often, we experience the shadow, the gift and the siddhi at the same time! With Gene Key or Gate 63 defined, you’ll naturally have doubt. It’s part of how you move through life. What will move you beyond the doubt though, is inquiry into the truth.
