Unjaded Episode 129: Why Your Offer Isn’t Selling (and how to fix that)
Make your offer irresistible so that it sells and you stay in business.
Here are 5 things you can do RIGHT NOW to build your saleable offer.
Be honest with me here. Are you struggling to sell your offer?
You’ve poured your heart into it. You know it’s valuable. But when you put it out there… crickets.
❌ No sign-ups.
❌ No engagement.
❌ No sales.
Here’s the hard truth: If people aren’t buying, it’s not because your offer isn’t good.
It’s because they don’t understand why they need it.
And we can fix that.
In this post, I’m breaking down the exact reasons why your offer isn’t selling and what to do right now to turn it into something people can’t wait to buy.
Prefer to listen? You can do that here.
One of the biggest mistakes I see entrepreneurs make is getting stuck in the features of their offer instead of the benefits.
🔹 Features are what’s included in your offer.
🔹 Benefits are what your client actually gets from it.
Here’s an example:
💡 Feature → “You get three live coaching calls with me.”
💡 Benefit → “You’ll get three live coaching calls so that you can get personalized guidance and stop second-guessing your business decisions which will _________.
People don’t buy features—they buy results. They need to know:
👉 What transformation they’ll experience
👉 How your offer solves their specific problem
👉 Why it’s the right choice for them right now
🔹 Instead of saying, “You get a private Facebook group,” say, “You’ll have access to a private community where you can get real-time feedback and support so that you never feel stuck in your business again.”
🔹 Instead of saying, “Includes six video lessons,” say, “Step-by-step video lessons will walk you through exactly how to create content that gets paying clients—no more guesswork!”
Action Step: Look at your sales page and replace every feature with a clear benefit.
If people don’t know what results to expect, they won’t buy. It’s that simple.
Even if you’re new and don’t have testimonials yet, you can:
✅ Share your own transformation (why you created this offer in the first place)
✅ Offer a beta round to get testimonials from early clients.
✅ Highlight past wins from clients you’ve worked with (even if it wasn’t for this exact offer)
People need proof that your offer works. And if you can’t provide that yet, you need to get some wins under your belt first—even if that means offering a beta round at a lower price.
Action Step: Gather at least three testimonials (or personal stories) to include on your sales page and marketing content.
A common mistake? Thinking that adding a bunch of bonuses will make your offer more appealing.
Newsflash: People are overwhelmed. They don’t even open most of the bonuses they get.
Instead of more bonuses, focus on the right bonus—one that actually helps your clients get results faster or easier.
💡 Example: Instead of offering 10 extra PDFs, you could include a bonus coaching session to troubleshoot their biggest challenge in real-time.
Action Step: Look at your bonuses and ask yourself, Are these adding value, or just adding noise?
Be honest—are you 100% in love with your offer?
Because if you’re not, that energy comes through in your marketing. People can feel if you’re hesitant.
You have to believe in your offer before anyone else will. And if you don’t, ask yourself:
👉 What’s missing?
👉 How can I refine this so I feel excited to talk about it?
👉 Do I need to run a beta round first to get feedback?
A beta launch can help you gain clarity and confidence because you’ll see firsthand that people are getting results. When you love your offer, selling it becomes effortless.
Action Step: Ask yourself, What would make me LOVE this offer?—then make the necessary tweaks.
Here’s a simple trick that instantly makes your offer more compelling: Every time you describe a feature, add a “so that.”
🔹 “You get weekly live calls” → “You get weekly live calls so that you always have a clear action plan and never feel stuck.”
🔹 “Includes an exclusive workbook” → “Includes an exclusive workbook so that you can map out your next steps with ease and confidence.”
Action Step: Go through your offer description and make sure every feature has a “so that” attached to it. Check out this podcast episode that I recorded for you on how to use ‘so that’ to convert to your audience members to paying customers.

If people aren’t buying your offer, we need to talk.
In this episode, I’m walking you through some of the key things you might be missing when it comes to making your offer irresistible. If people don’t understand what your offer is, how it helps them, and why they need it, they won’t buy.

Here’s what we’ll cover in this episode:
✅ Why focusing on features instead of benefits is killing your sales
✅ How to clearly communicate the results your offer provides
✅ Why too many bonuses can actually hurt your conversions
✅ The power of confidence in selling your offer
✅ The simple “so that” trick to make your messaging more compelling
Your Offer Needs to Focus on Benefits, Not Just Features
One of the biggest mistakes I see entrepreneurs make is talking only about what’s included in their offer instead of what it does for their clients.
🔹 Instead of saying, “You get three live coaching calls,” say, “You’ll get three live calls so that you can stop second-guessing your business decisions and take action with confidence.”
🔹 Instead of “Includes a private Facebook group,” say, “You’ll be part of a private community where you can get real-time support so you never feel stuck.”
The Truth About Bonuses (Why More Isn’t Always Better)
More and more, I’m hearing from clients that they don’t even open their bonuses. People don’t want extra fluff—they want results.
Instead of piling on more bonuses, focus on one powerful bonus that actually helps them get results faster.
Are You Confident in Your Offer?
If you aren’t 100% in love with your offer, people can feel it. And if you don’t believe in your offer, they won’t either.
A great way to build confidence? Run a beta round.
Let real people go through it, get feedback, and see their results firsthand. It will make selling so much easier.
