Introduction to Human Design Gate 25 and Gene Key 25

Human Design Gate 25 is The Gate of Spirit. It represents Universal Love. People with Gate 25 are called to retain their innocence, despite their outer circumstances. It often seems like they face more
challenges in life than others. Through it all, their ability to maintain a positive outlook on life is admirable.

Location of Gate 25 in your Human Design Chart

Gate 25 is located in the G center of the bodygraph or human design chart.

The 51-25 Channel and Gate 25’s Human Design Circuitry

Think of Human Design Circuitry as the circuit board that lies beneath the rest of your design. Circuitry is the thing that all other aspects are placed upon. It lays the foundation and the energies here never change.  

There are 3 main circuits in Human Design: Individual, Collective, and Tribal. 

This is part of the Channel of Initiation (51-25). It’s a Projected channel and is part of the Centering Circuit. You have the spirit of a warrior and are often called to leap into the unknown (or you’re thrown into the unknown). You are competitive. You need to win and you will always go first. 

Tapping into Gate 25’s Energy

How does Gate 25 show up in your chart, and how can you tap into that loving energy? Start by taking a look at your own chart to see if Gate 25 is defined (the line is colored in)  or undefined (the line is blank). Next, look at the G Center to see if it is defined (colored in) or undefined (blank).

Here are the possibilities:

Defined Gate 25 in a Defined G Center

If Gate 25 is defined for you in a defined centre you have access to this energy always. It’s part of who you are. You are in it to win it. You have an energy about you that appreciates and loves the whole, not individuals per se, but humanity on the whole.

Defined Gate 25 in an Undefined G Center

If Gate 25 is defined for you in an undefined centre it is considered dormant. It will be activated when you are with someone who has Gate 51 (the Gate of Shock and Initiation), defined OR when a planetary transit defines this gate.

Accessing Energy with an Undefined Gate 25

If Gate 25 is undefined for you, fear not! 
You’ll have access to the energy of this gate when you are with others who have it defined and/or through planetary transits. You can borrow this energy by being in the aura of someone who has it defined.

Unveiling The Shadow of Gate 25

The shadow of Gate 25, according to Gene Keys, is constriction.
Richard Rudd (Gene Keys) explains that Gene Key 25 moves from constriction, through acceptance, to Universal Love. It is the way of acceptance and is a hub Gene Key which means that it contains the human story. It’s the very breath of love, the lack of love, remembering and forgetting love.

A personal exercise for Gate 25 awareness

Make a list of all of the things that you love about yourself and your life.
