Human Design Gate 14 is The Gate of Power Skills.
In the i-ching, it’s referred to as ‘possession in great measure’ and is illustrated by a wagon overflowing with gold coins. People with this gate are said to be like lucky charms among friends, family and business associates. The energy for abundance in this gate is said to be contagious.

With this Gate 14 defined in your Human Design, you have the power to push creative works out into the world where they’ll bring abundance.

The power to generate wealth through creativity lies within this gate.

Location of Gate 14 in your Human Design Chart

Gate 14 is located in the Sacral center of the bodygraph or human design chart.

The 2-14 Channel and Gate 14’s Human Design Circuitry

Think of Human Design Circuitry as the circuit board that lies beneath the rest of your design. Circuitry is the thing that all other aspects are placed upon. It lays the foundation and the energies here never change.  

There are 3 main circuits in Human Design: Individual, Collective, and Tribal. 

Gate 14 forms part of the Channel of the Beat. Channel 2-14 is a generated channel that’s part of the knowing circuit.

People with the entire channel 2-14 not only create, they know how to use their creations to empower others to do the same. Gate 14 is a Sacral gate and as such it’s of utmost importance that it be used to create in response (the Sacral centre is a motor that operates in response). 

Tapping into Gate 14’s Energy

How does Gate 14 show up in your chart, and how can you tap into that lucky charm energy? Start by taking a look at your own chart to see if Gate 14 is defined (the line is colored in)  or undefined (the line is blank). Next, look at the Sacral Center to see if it is defined (colored in) or undefined (blank).

Defined Gate 14 in a Defined Sacral Center

If Gate 14 is defined for you in a defined centre you have access to this energy always. It’s part of who you are. You may find that you create opportunities to generate wealth effortlessly as you go through life.

Defined Gate 14 in an Undefined Sacral Center

If Gate 14 is defined for you in an undefined centre it is considered dormant. It will be activated when you are with someone who has Gate 2 (the Gate of Direction of Self) defined OR when a planetary transit defines Gate 2. The themes of hanging gates in undefined centres often play out in relationships.

Accessing Energy with an Undefined Gate 14

If Gate 14 is undefined for you, fear not! 
You’ll have access to the energy of this gate when you are with others who have it defined and/or through planetary transits. You can borrow this energy by being in the aura of someone who has it defined. 

Unveiling The Shadow of Gate 14

The shadow of Gate 14, according to Gene Keys, is compromise.
Richard Rudd (Gene Keys) explains that this compromise is most dangerous when we compromise ourselves. Gate/Gene Key 14 invites us to believe fully in ourselves and our abilities so that we can experience the bounteousness that is promised here, in its highest expression.

A personal exercise for Gate 14 awareness

Begin to notice all of the good fortune that you’ve called into your life.
You never need worry about financial insecurity. You are literally wired for abundance.
