There are 4 or 5 Human Design Types, each with their own strategy for how to show up in world. Your Human Design Type can inform you of the best way to move through your life in order to show up with ease.

Depending on who you ask, there are 4 or 5 Human Design types. Each Human Design type has its own strategy for showing up in the world. When we follow our Human Design Strategy, life will flow more easily and naturally for us. It’s like having an invisible compass that guides on life’s journey. Keep reading to discover your Human Design type and strategy.

Manifestor Human Design

Manifestors initiate. They are the only Human Design type that is designed to do so. Manifestors are powerful beings. People are often repelled by Manifestors as their aura tends to be more closed and uninviting. This is because they don’t NEED people to get things done. Manifestors make up about 11% of the population.

The Manifestor Human Design strategy is to inform. Manifestors are not here to ask permission, and they should never feel like they have to. If you are a Manifestor, it’s of utmost importance that you inform people around you of what you’re about to do – whether it’s a course you’re preparing to take, a building project, an errand you’re running, whatever it is, informing those that will be affected by your actions is paramount to living a life according to your design.

As a Manifestor, you’ll also want to BE informed and not surprised or taken off guard by something that will affect you. 

Generator Human Design

Generators respond to life around them. They are not designed to initiate although they will have been conditioned, throughout their lives, to do so. Generator types have an open and enveloping aura. They take everything in because they are meant to be responding to the world around them. Generators make up about 33% of the population.

The Generator strategy is exactly that. To respond.

If you are a Generator Human Design Type, trust the Universe to give you something to respond to, always. 

It can feel frustrating to do so, and you may have trouble leaning into this strategy because you’ve been so conditioned to initiate. You have lots of energy and get up and go, so patience is not your strong suit.

Develop the patience to wait and it will pay off for you because you’ll be in alignment with the things that are meant for you!

Manifesting Generator Human Design

The Manifesting Generator is, for all intents and purposes, a Generator. Many Human Design coaches consider the Manifesting Generator a type on its own but it’s really and truly a Generator type. Therefore, the Manifesting Generator is here to live in response to life around them. Manifesting Generators make up about 33% of the population.

I am a Manifesting Generator.
While some will argue that the Manifestor type and strategy doesn’t come into play much for Manifesting Generators, my lived experience tells me otherwise. I see this in my clients too.  Manifesting Generators will also have a need to be informed and to inform.

The aura of the Manifesting Generator is BIG. It disrupts energy patterns naturally. It is super important to let people know what’s about to hit them!

If you’re a Manifesting Generator, chances are that you’ve been accused more than once of being a cyclone going through the place! This is your aura or your energy field. By simply waiting for things to respond to (simply – haha! This will be one of the hardest things you ever do because [patience is not your strong suit!) AND informing others of what you’re about to do, life will go more smoothly. Trust me on this one 😉

Projector Human Design

Projectors wait to be recognized and/or invited. That is, when they are living according to their strategy, they do. Projectors have a focused and penetrating aura. Projectors make up about 20% of the population.

The Projector strategy is to wait for the invitation. 
Now, this doesn’t mean that you stay locked away at home, waiting and waiting and waiting to be invited to do things. You wait for the invitation for the big things in life such as;

• Where you’ll live
• Who you’ll be in relationship with
• Careers
• Etc…

Energetically, allow yourself to be seen and felt so that you can be invited in. Don’t hide yourself away!
Use inviting language with others. Ask, “May I share my thoughts around this?” And allow people to decline your invitation if they don’t want your wisdom.

Reflector Human Design

Reflectors are karmic mirrors. They are here to reflect the health of their communities. It is said that Reflectors have a sampling aura in that they are sampling the happenings in the community to reflect it back. Reflectors make up about 1% of the population.

The Reflector Human Design Strategy is to wait out a full lunar cycle.
Reflectors do not have defined centres in Human Design, so they have nothing to ‘lean into’ to guide them. It’s of utmost importance that the Reflector follow the cycle of the moon when making any big decisions in life. This will give them security in knowing that the decision is sound.

There are many intricacies in Human Design. Coming back to your Human Design Strategy and Authority will lead to the best thing for you, always. Trust this before you go crazy trying to learn about the gates and channels and all of the other stuff. Over and over and over again, return to your Strategy and Authority.
