I get how it is at the beginning of a New Year.

Everyone is hyped up on goofballs and making resolutions (except now they have fancier words like intentions) and choosing a word of the year, and signing up for bootcamps and just shouting from the rooftops that “EVERYTHING WILL BE DIFFERENT THIS YEAR!!! THIS IS IT!!!!”

…. And you’re over here like… what if it isn’t?

You feel tired all the time.

You feel like the whole world needs something from you

You feel like if you take time for yourself, you’re being self centred

You really, really, really WANT to do better. 

You WANT to take care of yourself.  You WANT to be proud of yourself at the end of the day. 

You WANT to have just 5 seconds to yourself but damned if you don’t get to the end of each and every frigging day and say “Tomorrow.  Tomorrow is the day I’ll do something for me”
